Thank you for considering a donation to Friends of Norfolk Animal Care Center. As a 501(c)(3) organization, your donations are deductible to the extent permitted by law. Ways you can help include: monetary donations, in-kind donations, and donating your time and VOLUNTEERING. We appreciate any way you might choose to support Norfolk Animal Care Center
MONETARY DONATIONS
The funds are used to support our goal of increasing awareness of, and support for, NACC. This may include advertising for the shelter, shelter enhancements, or other projects that we feel will increase shelter adoptions.
Our primary goal is to get the word out about NACC and the important role that spay/neuter plays
in the success of getting more animals adopted. To this end, we will be focusing monetary resources on advertising. Please help us spread the word!
We hope you will consider making a yearly donation
at one of the following levels to assist in providing year-round marketing of the shelter:
Donations of any amount may be made through PayPal or Network for Good.
If you prefer to make regular timed donations, please consider
using Network for Good's automatic donation program.
Our name will currently appear as
The Medical Fund for Animals
as we are in the process of an official name change.
Our EIN number is 35-2262336.
Thank you for your support!
How will your donations be used? Some of the ways include:
$250 sponsors a billboard for one month;
$165 sponsors a full-color, half page ad in an issue of Pet Tails Magazine (published 6 times a year);
$100 sponsors a 7-day run of a 2-photo classified ad in the Virginian Pilot;
Any donation of another amount will aid us greatly in ensuring more people in Hampton Roads know about Norfolk Animal Care Center and the fantastic animals waiting to be adopted. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

CORPORATE DONATIONS & ADVERTISING
For corporate donations or placing an ad for your business on our website, please contact Rebecca.
IN-KIND DONATIONS
Items may be dropped off directly to the shelter during their office hours (8:00a-4:30p, seven days a week). Please note that the shelter has a contract for dry dog and cat food, and because they prefer to keep the animals on a uniform diet, food items (aside from treats) cannot be accepted.
Blanket of Love Drive
Friends of NACC are going "undercover" - literally! Our goal is to provide each dog and cat staying with us with their own "blanket of love". These blankets don't just provide warmth - they provide a soft, comfortable place to rest while waiting for their forever home. Please assist in our goal by donating your gently used blankets, duvets, quilts, and throws. Items can be taken directly to the shelter, or to one of our drop-off locations (see list to the left).
Download a PDF of the shelter wish list (please consider posting it on your office or church bulletin board and acting as a point of contact for donations).
